DEA Cannabis Rescheduling — Proposed Rule Comment Period

Following the HHS recommendation to reclassify cannabis from Schedule I to Schedule III under the Controlled Substances Act, the DEA's Administrative Law Judge process is expected to open additional public comment opportunities. If rescheduling proceeds, 280E would no longer apply to cannabis businesses. Bob Hoban has submitted testimony in prior rounds.
